Welcome to the only known website
for Sega CD emulation. We have gathered a ton of info on the Sega CD and
are attempting a CD Loading emulator for this system. If you found out
about this site, then we probably know you or someone found us and let
someone in the Emulation World about us (we are running this quietly until
we can get a better test out to you all). A shitload of "thanks"
and "fuckin' A's" go out to the crew at Zophar's
Domain for all the help his site has provided to us, also "hell
ya's" goto Genecyst creator(s) for giving our 2 programmers the want to
do this.

Project FoxDeck:
This project was started by three
people who played the hell out of emulators like Genecyst and wished we
could play the cream of the crop, the Sega CD games. Sure there was a LOT
of crappy FMV games like Night Trap but we wanted Shining Force CD, Lunar,
and FoxArray's favourite Silpheed.
We gathered what we could from
all the Sega related sites and took apart a genesis and 2 Sega CD players
(as well as FoxArray's 16x CD Drive, just cuz we could). We wanted to first
see if there was a way to reverse engineer a copy of Genecyst and put FoxDeck
on top and then try to "sell" the idea to Bloodlust (no meatheat not money
sell, but rather give them an idea what we wanted to do). Well needless
to say FoxArray didn't feel like doing that and would rather just build
something like Bleem or PSEmu and go from there. I (Runner) will try to
keep this site updated as we get stuff done and hopefully "leak" a Beta
to you all and get feedback for the two programmers to run off of.
Current Update:
Version Alpha
-
Holy Shit the damn thing turns on!
-
Title for Silpheed comes up nothing else
Version 0.01
-
Controls work. Testers these are the controls
(Straight from MstrSys's mouth)
-
UP = Up Arrow, DOWN = Down
Arrow, LEFT = Left Arrow, RIGHT = Right Arrow, C="D", B = "S", A="A", START="W"
(God I hope these will be configurable soon, but why have this set if no
games work? Well... stay VERY tuned why)
Version 0.02
-
FoxArray has let me know he started on a Screen
Capture option and hopefully will be done by the .05 release to you
-
Silpheed's introcomes in at a swishing 5FPS and
the colour codes are just a little off if you haven't guessed.
Version 0.03 was dumped to
3 beta testers and problems occured with the 3DFX Coding FoxArray designed,
making Silpheed crash on the intro.
-
Night Trap loads but crashes at Start
-
Silpheed Runs poorly w/out 3DFX Driver loaded,
crashes w/
-
LUNAR Sound, no graphics with either Engine Loader
